    I can't feel too bad for people who buy stuff like this. I mean seriously, some very basic research on the front end would prevent someone from making such a purchase. Start off by looking at the shields or other products from known legitimate or established suppliers. In this case, Armored Republic itself offers that kind of shield for close to $1,000. Common sense should tell you that there's no way a $100 knockoff could be legit. That meant that whoever made it in China spent maybe $40 on material. You can't even get the material to build the real shield for that much, let alone the engineering, assembly, quality control and certification etc that the real product has. There's just no realistic way you're going to get an equivalent product for one-tenth the cost of the real one. About all this shield is good for, maybe, is to give to your kids to use for snowball fights.

    I ground down the peak and it still would not auto release, took it out again and further smoothed out the the opening, put it back together, and still didn't auto release. After watching your video and going to do it a third time but pay attention to rounding the top edge to the left as you described. Wish me luck

    • @adigaarmory
      @adigaarmory 19 годин тому

      Not a major issue... it is just not very smooth, and cycling the action is not as clean as it can be. I just used some 400 grit and then some 2000 grit to smooth out some of the machine marks on the flat bolt surfaces... the bolt smoothed out nicely. Enjoy!

    If you are going to be a precision shooter in competitions you can't look at the target but have your focus on the front sight in both cases. In my case I go from a ghost gun on the right to a ghost target on the left. It is super weird to begin with but is possible to handle eventually.

    Thx for the vid. Does the plant not get overwatered if the roots are kept wet for 3 days? Do you fill the bucket up right away after being drained? I am asking bc I thought overwatering was caused by frequency of water, and not letting the roots dry out. Thanks!!

    • @adigaarmory
      @adigaarmory 19 годин тому

      Good question... I don't refill them right away... it is good to let them dry out for 2-3 days in between to force the roots to grow deeper.

    Not a big deal comment here but I believe that blue shop/ body shop towel is a lint free style towel as opposed to the white paper towels that are NOT lint free and the white ones do not hold together as strongly as the blue towels do so for this job blue is the way to go ......

    • @adigaarmory
      @adigaarmory 19 годин тому

      Indeed... the blue shop towels are vastly superior for this stuff.

    I've been using this product for a couple years now to clean guns and magazines. Never any problems as of now. I will add, all my mags are for .22LR. I keep reading about dry lubes. Who makes a dry lube?

    • @adigaarmory
      @adigaarmory 19 годин тому

      Glad to hear it is working well. There are some good applications for dry lubes like graphite, moly, or even grease type lubes, etc. But I would not use it in my mags. Just CLP and I wipe the mags dry before assembling... never had an issue.

  • @CherokeeRose187
    @CherokeeRose187 14 днів тому

    Savage redesigned the firing pin, however the issue is not completely cured, I disassembled the bolt and added a steel BB to add some more preload to the firing pin spring, this helped. I also took some careful measurements of the spring and the space it fits, and it appears to be possible to fit a very slightly stronger custom spring. I am currently looking at modifying it to fit an even bigger spring. I would not bother with all this effort but the 3 I have are so incredibly accurate and it is otherwise a very well designed gun.

    • @adigaarmory
      @adigaarmory 19 годин тому

      Interesting approach... this fix from the video helped, but not 100%... I really wish Savage would address this correctly. It is a great little rifle otherwise.

    Thank you for the helpful video watching this video helps a lot I normally use F10 CLP it's awesome I put a thin layer of CLP all over my panther arms AR-9 bolt carrier group I stay away from the firing pin hole and I lubricate inside the upper receiver and the charging handle believe it or not there is a lot of Wear inside the upper receiver.

    • @adigaarmory
      @adigaarmory 19 годин тому

      Yeah... steel on aluminum can show some wear over time. You can always try our CLP to see if you like it better. We have a 30-day risk-free money back guarantee. Otherwise, you can also try adding a little bit of gun grease to the high friction areas.

    I think revolvers make better home defense weapons if they sit there for a while. I'm pretty sure the springs in a semi-auto handgun magazine will become less reliable after some time while fully loaded.

    1:58 #4 was my problem when I got my first gun. I was in the gun store looking at several guns I was recommended and read about online but I kept thinking they were all to big and would be difficult to shoot. I ended up choosing a Glock 48 cause I felt the slim frame would make things easier. I shoot it well enough but my 2nd firearm was a beretta 92FS and that’s when I realized my error lol. I now own several pistols and favor “compact” sized guns around the g19 or cz p01 size.

    Its kinda weird for me, as I have amblyopia on my left eye (weak left eye), so my brain always priorotizes my right eye (dominant one) when it has a choice ignoring my left one completely. so when i look trough my irons no matter what technique, i always see one sight picture and gun always, i never have ´ghost gun or ghost sights´.

    3:32 poor little BB didnt manage to join he's friends flying, it just fell down to the ground.. maybe someday it will be picked up, recycled into something else, and then recycled again and again and again and again and again, until it becomes a new BB and gets a second chance at being sendt into oblivion, atleast from the bb's perspective. nice gun tho, think im getting one.

Checked details that you pointed out and luckily i have an authentic one if they have not updated their knockoffs! Put on a 10.5” 300blk out and it was dead on from 25 to 100yds with “0” adjustments! Very happy so far with 200 rounds. Time will tell with higher round count. Buyer beware! Thanks for the info…need more like you!

    I'm 70 yo woman just bought this UTV about 6 months ago. I don't think it was, as you say, cheap. The things I know personally, no problems mechanically, but loud to me, the tail gate clips are hard to open/close along with the dump bed clip. Seems like they could use different fixtures for this, my hands are not as strong as they use to be. Also, a cell phone holder would be nice. Wish I had gotten extra lighting for night time. Overall I like it, does what I need it to do.

    • @adigaarmory
      @adigaarmory 19 годин тому

      Cheap is always relative right? Financially speaking, it is one of the least expensive from the big brands. But it is not cheaply made by any means. It's a good little working UTV.

    Very nice video. I plan to purchase this rifle asap. Have you tried any of the premium match ammo ,( Elley , Lapua) if so were the groups better, worth the expense and trouble of finding any in stock. I bought a RPR in 6.5 CM a few years ago. Ive lately started buying and using mostly 22lr because of expense, availability of ammo and I'm limited to 200 yds here at my home. I just got the SR 22 pistol and it seems to be all the reviews said. The only problem I've experienced is the shooter. Like Quigley I'm not a pistol guy but getting there. Ruger IMO makes top of the line firearms that for what you get are very affordable. I bought a fully custom rifle also 6.5 CM that was 4 times the total cost of my RPR. I'm sure and certainly hope there are shooters that can with my custom build shoot circles around my factory RPR but admittedly I get equal accuracy and precision from both. Thanks for sharing your experience. Thought of a question. Can you or anyone recommend a good and affordable scope to put on this rifle. I can wait and save to put what will enhance shootabilty but realize also theres a point that beyond is just spending $ unnecessarily. Any advice would be appreciated.

    • @adigaarmory
      @adigaarmory 19 годин тому

      Have not tried those premium .22 brands as of yet. Not sure if it will help, but I suppose it doesn't hurt. The CCI Standard Vel stuff works well enough... just have to fire a couple of "warm up" shots. For the scope, this unit is topped off with a nice affordable Vortex. Just depends on what is in your budget.

    Finger prints on bullets at a crime scene "Really" surely if your gun was stolen the first thing you would do is inform the police then it wouldn't matter also for the police to match finger prints to you they would have to have your prints on record which would make you a criminal in which case you shouldn't own a gun.

    • @adigaarmory
      @adigaarmory 18 годин тому

      ok tiger... then keep putting your prints all over your ammo. I'm sure there has to be some benefit to doing that... right?
